The 2026 Venezuela earthquakes were two earthquakes that occurred on June 24, 2026, in northern Venezuela. The first tremor originated at 18:04:33 local time (22:04:33 UTC), 23 kilometers from San Felipe (capital of Yaracuy) with a magnitude of 7.2, and the second earthquake with a magnitude of 7.5.
For six days of operations, our teams worked in some of the most affected areas of the Venezuelan coast.
These included:
Playa Grande
Catia La Mar
La Guaira
Tanaguarena
In these areas, over thirty search interventions were carried out, collaborating closely with Venezuelan emergency services and other international teams deployed in the region.
Operations were carried out using different search tools:
Listening devices and seismic sensors.
Search cameras.
Drones with thermal cameras.
Cutting and drilling equipment.
Specialized K9 teams.
Communication systems.
